Jochen Berbner

Experience

On 1 July 2026, Jochen Berbner was appointed General Director of Vostoktsvetmet LLP. Prior to this appointment, he served as Director for Strategic Development at Vostoktsvetmet LLP.

He graduated from the University of Karlsruhe (Germany) with a degree in Industrial Engineering and Management (Diplom-Wirtschaftsingenieur). He also holds an MBA from INSEAD, one of the world’s leading business schools.

Jochen has more than 25 years of international management experience in the mining and metals industry, strategic development, and operational performance improvement.

Throughout his career, he has held senior leadership positions at McKinsey & Company and Eurasian Resources Group (ERG). He has worked in Germany, Russia, and Kazakhstan.
