In 2014, to coincide with the Restructuring, we undertook a materiality assessment to prioritise key Corporate Responsibility (CR) issues from both an internal and external perspective. As part of this process we engaged with internal stakeholders from across the business, including senior operational management and key executive management in health and safety, environment, risk, human resources and finance. We also sought the views of some of our external stakeholders, including investors and environmental, social and governance analysts.

The purpose of the engagement was to identify the most material issues and gather feedback on the Group's reporting, as well as our CR strategy, performance and key CR issues. A benchmarking exercise against peers and competitors was also conducted.

The outcome of this engagement was a matrix (see below) setting out the CR issues most material to our business and to our stakeholders. This was reviewed by senior management and the Board.
